Since the introduction of Audio Overviews last year, NotebookLM users have created detailed, podcast-like summaries on key topics from their uploaded sources. To expand this functionality and provide users with a more educational and visual experience, we are excited to introduce Video Overviews.
Users can now convert documents, slides, charts, and more into engaging explanatory videos narrated by an AI voice. Video Overviews are expertly crafted visual guides of the content you provide, incorporating images, diagrams, quotes, and figures from your source material. Just like Audio Overviews, you will also have the option to customize your video overview by specifying the topics to focus on, outlining your learning goals, describing the target audience, and much more. At this time, video overviews are only available for users over 18 years old.
Improvements were also introduced to the Studio panel, where elements like audio overviews and notes can be created in NotebookLM, including multiple audio overviews and the ability to share content.
Specifically, users can now:

- Generate multiple audio overviews in a single notebook. This means you can now create versions in different languages from the same source material or generate a set of audio overviews focused on different subsections of your sources.
- Generate shareable links for content such as audio overviews and video overviews that cannot be shared outside your domain.
