Meet Flow: AI-powered cinematography

Today we present Flow, the new AI filmmaking tool.

Created by and for creative minds, it is the only AI filmmaking tool custom-built for Google’s most advanced models: Veo, Imagen, and Gemini. Flow can help writers explore their ideas without limits and create cinematic videos and scenes for their stories.

What can you do with Flow?

Flow is inspired by the feeling when time slows down and the creative process is effortless, iterative, and full of possibilities. It is custom-designed for Veo, Google’s latest video generation model, which follows instructions exceptionally well and generates stunning cinematic results known for their physics and realism. Behind the scenes, Gemini models allow you to create prompts intuitively, so you can describe your video using everyday language. You can use your own assets to create characters or use Flow to create your own elements with Imagen’s text-to-image features.

Once you’ve created a theme or scene, you can integrate those same elements across different clips and scenes with consistency. You can also use a scene image to start a new shot.

Get started with Flow

Flow is the evolution of VideoFX, a Google Labs experiment. Flow is available to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers.

Google AI Pro gives you access to Flow’s key features and 100 creations per month, while Google AI Ultra provides the highest usage limits and early access to Veo 3 with native audio generation, allowing you to bring ambient sounds and character dialogue directly into the video creation process.
