What changes do we implement?
Introducing a new experience for Google Contacts that will help Google Workspace users learn more about their colleagues. In Contacts (contacts.google.com) or in Contacts sidebar, you can see more detailed information about other people, for example:
- Your management chain, department and title
- A history of your Workspace relationship, including email conversations and meetings
Who is affected by this change?
To administrators and end users
Why is it important?
More than ever, our work requires a higher level of interaction, collaboration and connection. To collaborate effectively with people in our broader network, it’s helpful to have more information about them, what and who they work on, and what’s important to those people. The redesigned Google Contacts experience gives you the ability to easily learn more about your colleagues and stakeholders, making it easier to collaborate and make ideas impactful.
